I *think* this is happening after display resolution change (which can happen even by locking the computer or using Remote Desktop).
I have no steps to reproduce but I identified Lightning as the source of this bug, cause I disabled all other extensions or themes. With Lightning disabled, I can't see this.
System: Windows 7 Pro x86 German
Thunderbird: 2.0.23 German
Lightning: 0.9 (stable) German
I have two JS warnings although I can't tell you if they are related to this bug or even to Lightning cause I'm not able to provoke this bug. It just happens after some time using Thunderbird.
Restarting TB brings back the normal state for a while, until the bug happens again.
Reproducible: Always
