Step to repro:
* Go to the awesome bar and use the keyboard arrow to navigate in the awesome result
* Try to pan with the finger on a different row than the currently selected one

Actual result:
 * 2 rows are highlighted

Expected result:
 * It can be only one active row

The tapped row is not made "active" until you tap and release. You might start panning, which would not change the selected row.

yeah, I don't think it ruins the user experience in having a selected item that a user can press enter to at anytime while they pan. Like Mark said, beginning a pan will removing the highlight anyways.
