I would like to get the most recent production version of Wordpress (2.8.6 as of this writing) installed under http://hg.mozilla.org/labs/testpilotweb/wp/, and changes to the wp-content/themes directory synced every 10-15 minutes to the staging server set up in bug 529913.

hgweb already manages hg.mozilla.org I'm not sure it would make sense to host wordpress in a subdir there. Am I misunderstanding this request?

Neil, you probably only need the wp-content dir.

Basically, I need to set up a wordpress blog that will eventually live at at http://testpilot.mozillalabs.com/testcases/ - as there is content currently in that directory, I was thinking I could run WP in a different directory and either switch it over or redirect it when we move to production.

I also need changes to the wp-content directory automatically synced to the mozillalabs.com staging server, in a similar way we have changes to svn.m.o/projects/labs.mozilla.com/trunk/blog/wp-content automatically synced to http://labs-newdomain.stage.mozilla.com/wp-content/.

staging instance is up and running, pulling from hg every 5 minutes.

I think it will make less of a mess to check in your local development than to try checking in a blank wp instance.

But, let me know either way.

Okay, I've committed my local WP install (the current version as of today) which has all of the required plugins and template files for the test cases work.

Zandr, I'll need to get a database set up and the wp-config.php file updated with the specifics.

morgamic - wordpress is up and works, so I closed this. The plugin we're using to collect user posts isn't working on stage, however - see bug 54148.
