I noticed that when I viewed https://blog.mozilla.com/feed/ (over https:// -- SSL) that none of the usual SSL indicators (favicon eTLD, lock in bottom right corner, etc.) showed up. Considering we use these same SSL indicators everywhere else in the browser, we should do the same for the feed preview page.
