1. Go to Help-->Firefox Help
2. Click on "Bookmarks"

Result:
"No pages matched the search criteria "

Tried it with https, as well as different search terms manually typed in (e.g. flash), and I still get no results.

May have to do with sphinx cluster. Trevor might have some clues?
This is working again for me; did it restart itself, or what?
Works for me. searchd crash?

Must have died. It recovered at 20:29 when cron restarted searchd.

I've seen searchd segfaulting occasionally and have setup the sphinx cluster to debug this. Production SUMO is still using sphinx on the memcache boxes, so no debug information there. Shouldn't be a problem anymore once we move this to the cluster.

This is automatically fixed by cron whenever it happens. Debugging the crash is in bug 530830.
