this ridiculous. You name it the fastetest browser ever and it
causes crashes and such stupid restore-works like everytime renewing
the startpage.

If this problem will not be solved fast ( !! ) I´ll switch back to
IE 8 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.shut down browser
2.open again
3.startpage changed into firefox startpage

The old story about switching to browser X is not new, it's not necessary for the report and I don't care about that ( I would ignore every report with such a comment if i would)

Steps to reproduce are missing step0 : 
What is your current startpage setting ?

Do you already tried https://support.mozilla.com/de/kb/Tab Firefox wurde aktualisiert wird bei jedem Firefox-Start angezeigt ?

Startpagesetting is "http://www.spiegel.de/schlagzeilen/"

reprodsing fault:

1. close FF 3.5.3
2. open browser again
3. not the fixed startpage as above (http://www.spiegel.de/schlagzeilen/)is shown 
   but firefox 3.5.3

After havin switched to 3.5.5 ´today it now doesnt´t appear when startpage and same page as bookmark is chosen.

the actual URL isn't necessary (privacy) but there are 4 different ways for the start setting.
Blank page, single page, a group of pages in different Tabs, start with the last closed Tabs.

This bug has had the CLOSEME tag for several weeks and the date in the tag is far gone. If the reporter can still see this issue, Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Then please remove the closeme tag in the whiteboard, mark the bug against the proper version and comment on the bug.
