Do you have the experimental cache enabled? If so, this is bug 479867. Please try disabling the cache for all calendars and restarting.
I didn't enable anything. Maybe it was enabled by default of from previous version. But anyway, how can is it possible to fix the problem?
To disable the broken cache follow the same steps that were used to enable the cache. In the calendar list on the left double click the calendar to open the properties dialog. Untick the cache checkbox and save the settings. Restart Thunderbird.
