I installed TB3-RC1 Sinhala build on my PC (Windows XP) but it does not display mails and folders. But the nightly build I downloaded yesterday (24 Nov) is working fine. TB3 Beta 1/2/3/4 were also working fine.
(I am trying to check this on separate environments and results are yet to receive, as this is urgent, I am writing to you in advance based on my experience)
I am attaching main and about windows of RC1 and 3.0.1pre for your reference.

I've just tried the RC 1 build on Windows XP:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; si; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091121 Thunderbird/3.0
This works fine. Do you see anything in the error console?

And have you tried starting in safe-mode?
(I've also just tried Mac and that is also fine).

Yes, I tried and get the same result, not displaying any previous message or folder. Shredder 3.0.1pre build (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; si; rv: 1.9.1.5, Gecko/20091123) is working fine.
But, this is hopefully not a bug of Windows build. I received "OK" from others who tested it yesterday. Still the problem is in my Windows XP.
I installed/uninstalled a many number of shredder nightly/beta on this PC for last few months. Something wrong somewhere, I am trying.
Thanks.

Have you got enough of menus, to be able to go to the equivalent of Tools -> Error Console and see if there are any messages there?

Something sees very wrong with your install ... as it's not finding some defined variables.

Yes this does seem to be an installation problem. Did you download the executable installer or the zip file?
If you downloaded the zip file did you install it over a previous version? (which is not recommended as it doesn't remove the old file.
I think you probably want to try reinstalling into a clean directory and seeing if that helps.

I downloaded windows setup.exe. All fresh installations I tried was successful. I will try with clean installation for my PC also. Thanks for your help.

Ok, so obviously something went wrong on first installation maybe. I don't think we can do any more here without further information, so resolving as incomplete for now. please feel free to reopen or file a new bug if there's some more information we can repeat this with.
