After i installed the flash beta from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html, the plugin check won't work. None of the info will show up about plugins being up to date, etc. See screenshot attatched.

A couple things in the error console, about this are... Error: $ is not defined Source File: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Line: 194 and Error: unterminated string literal Source File: http://www.mozilla.com/js/plugincheck.js Line: 13, Column: 89 Source Code: ="',finalUrl,'" onload="',errorCallbackName,'()" onreadystatechange="',errorCallbackName,'(this.readyState)"></script> <script src="/__ssobj/core.js"></script>

Looks like something isn't sanitizing a string properly... Could be a security issue, but if you can get a user to install a plugin with an evil name, you'd be able to do a whole lot more than XSS the plugincheck page. :-)

I am unable to repro with Shockwave Flash 10.1.51.45 (downloaded today) prod and dev are working fine for me with Windows XP. Can you download the latest from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html If you can repro, can you give exact details on browser, os, and other plugins installed. Thanks!
