User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091109 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.5 Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.23 (20090817) At first glance this may seem absurd, but bear with me... Example: If you are on an email list and someone sends a message to both the list and to you (as is often the case when they are replying to you), you will receive the same message twice. The proposed improvement would be that these messages are merged into a single item with all of the senders listed in a merged header. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send a message to two of your email aliases associated with the same mailbox. 2. Check your mail. 3. Be annoyed that there are two copies of the email. Actual Results: duplicate messages Expected Results: one message with multi-valued From and/or Sender fields
Don't most mailing lists have an option to avoid sending you a message if you're in the To: list?
