User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/531.21.8 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Safari/531.21.10 Build Identifier: When on ether IE or Netscape a popup will come up saying Domain Name Mismatch and something about certificate for "update.mozilla.org" come up every time, it locks up internet and screen and then all goes blank except outline of them. Have to Ctl/Alt/Del to close them down. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Log on 2.Go to any site 3.Wait for Security- Domain Name mismatch and crash Actual Results: Security popup comes up and then everything goes blank except borders and headers, then have to Ctl/Alt/Del to close EI or netscape Expected Results: In security box it has i think 3 options to choose that locking up prevents from clicking, think there OK Cancel and something elce I scanned computer for mozilla and removed all references to the name and folders. Had downloaded firefox long ago but never liked it crashed to much, so stopped using it. Been happening for long time now and now using Safari. I just want it gone.
I have a pic of screen if needed Security Error: Domain Name Mismatch You have attempted to establish a connection with "update.mozilla.org". However, the security certificate presented belongs to "addons.mozilla.org". It is possible, thought unlikely, that somone may be trying to intercept your communication with this web site. If you suspect the certificate shown does not belong to "update.mozilla.org", please cancel the connection and notify the site administrator. [VIEW CERTIFICATE] [ OK ] [ Cancel ] [ Help ] thats how its shown but i cant click anything then screen goes blank and locks.
Probably because umo is no longer a full functioning website, but simply redirects to amo. If IE is crashing, yo need to update to IE 8 and talk to microsoft. Netscape is no longer actively developed or maintained and has been superseded by Firefox 3.5
