User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 1. Start Firefox, go to Organize Bookmarks, see 2-column display as usual. Open "Recently Bookmarked" folder, drag one item to pre-existing bookmark folder "A" in the left column and item disappears from list in RB folder (right column). 2. click on folder "A" in left column and see item now listed there. 3. Click back on RB folder, item is now listed twice! Select one of the two and hit delete key - item dissappears. Select the remaining item hit delete, item disappears; click on folder "A" and item is now GONE; hit UNDO and item reappears in BOTH folder A and folder RB. 4. If I drag an item from "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder to folder "A", item disappears from folder UB and appears in folder "A". 5.All other drag and drop of bookmarks between user-generated folders appears to Work fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. steps are detailed above 2. this has been happening for some time, but I only investigated carefully and took notes this last time. 3. Expected Results: I expected that after bookmarking a file (using the star in the URL line at the top of the page) that I could drag and drop the new bookmark (or even one that's weeks old) into one of my organized folders to keep it organized, and them delete it from the "Recently bookmarked" file without losing it from BOTH places.` nothing special that I can think of
Does this still happen with Firefox 3.6.13 or later or Firefox 4?
