User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 Build Identifier: Thunderbird 3.0 RC1 When you drag a message from the message pane into a folder on the left, you see a blue horizontal line appear that looks terrible. This was not present in TB2. Also I noticed that if you drag a message and just hover with it over a folder, the cursor underneath blinks repeatedly like it's doing some kind of weird processing. Again, I didn't see this in TB2 --- everything was much cleaner. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.drag message from message pane to folder at left Actual Results: weird blue line appears. looks terrible. Expected Results: i expected the same visuals as we saw in TB 2.0 or something better perhaps (a move icon?)

Ciao Joshua, "the strange blue line" that you see is simply the subject of message that you drag with default color for selected message as in Windows 7 theme settings (if I remember well in Windows XP look more better). Confirmed isn't clear in this case but one universal solution, I think, it is impossible.

I would think that we could restore this to how it was in TB 2.0, where there is no blue line at all, just a simple, small icon that gets shown.
I'm seeing very similar behavior with Thunderbird 3 on OS X; my screen looks very similar to the screenshot posted by Aureliano (well, except that it looks Mac-like). The entire subject-from-date combo appears as a long blue translucent line, which when you drag covers up the folder pane. It makes it very difficult to tell which folder you've actually highlighted; filing emails has become quite slow and cumbersome. Reverting back to how this appeared in Thunderbird 2 would be much better.

As far as I know, this is by design -- gecko core functionality. If it really prevents you from seeing what folder is selected you might reopen this with a screen shot, but I don't see it on windows...the selected folder is quite obvious
