Build Identifier: 2.0.0.23 (20090812)
If you search for a term in "Entire Message," (using the widget in the upper right corner), it doesn't search subject lines.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Send yourself an e-mail with some words that are in the subject but not the body of the message.
2. Search for one of those terms "Entire Message."
3. Then change the search to "Subject" (or "Subject or Sender") and it'll appear, but then disappear if you change back to "Entire Message."
Actual Results:
If the query is in the subject line but not the message body, it doesn't show up when searching "entire message."
Expected Results:
When searching the "entire message," that should include the subject line.

Current implementation of "Entire Message" is "Body search" (AFAIR, implementation was changed), so bug 353347 was opened and is already fixed by Tb 3 ("Message body" is displayed at UI).
Enhancement requests such as "all headers and body", "all headers only", "non-decoded/original string in header", "keywords in HTML tag", are already opened for search and filter.
Search B.M.O for such bugs via "Advanced Search" of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/query.cgi, please.

As mentioned in the comment #1, TB 2.x work as as expected and your request is now implemented in TB 3.x
I close this issue as wontfix - as it workd in 3.0 and 2.x is a stability and security release branch.
