Details

Currently there is a notification for preview, but there is no notification for preview going away. So if an addon wants to do something in response to preview, it has no way to know when preview is over so it can put itself back. In my case, we have our own background images we want to make disappear during preview, but come back after preview. We have no way of doing that.

Dao, If I did a patch for this, would you take it for Firefox 4? This is a big missing functionality for lightweight themes. Makes it difficult for addons to hook into lightweight theming.
Addons won't have access to these APIs in 57.
