Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2b4) Gecko/20091124 Firefox/3.6b4 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091130 Thunderbird/3.0

I have multiple accounts and I use smart folders (SF). I also have my messages sorted by Date, Descending and Grouped by Sort.

In my Inbox SF, if I click on the top (Inbox) all of my Threads/Groups are collapsed. If I expand them, I can see all the messages grouped by date and everything is great.

Then if I click on any of the account specific Inbox folders I can see the messages grouped and expanded. If I go back and click on the parent Inbox SF the messages are again collapsed and I have to click on the '+' sign to expand the groups.

This only happens for the parent 'INBOX' SF.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use Smart Folders
2. Click on the INBOX
3. Expand the groups in the message pane
4. Click on any account specific INBOX
5. Click again on the parent INBOX
6. Message groups in the message pane are collapsed
Actual Results:
After clicking on the parent Smart Folders INBOX the messages are collapsed.

Expected Results:
After clicking on the parent Smart Folders INBOX the messages should be expanded.
Do you also have the issue when thunderbird is started in -safe-mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode)?

When it happens can you check Tools -> Error console and see if there is some messages ?

It does the same thing even if I start TB in safe-mode. Error console is empty.
