Step to reproduce: 1. File - Edit Page 2. Tooltip doesn't appear for the button on the left corner of toolbar (left, center, right, justify)
The first time I tested this bug, I also had trouble getting the tooltips for the font-size buttons to work (they were working 50% of the time). After about two minutes of moving my mouse around, I got the align-right button to pop up the tooltip "Indent text -- move right". After restarting Mozilla, the tooltips worked perfectly. Strange. Modern skin, Win98, 2000091808.

Hmm, indent text and align aren't the same thing.
i can't reproduce this on win98 using the comm build from 2000092508, marking wfm. sujay, can you please test on mac and linux.

I can't reproduce.... also what do you mean by: "button on the left corner of toolbar (left, center, right, justify)" these buttons are not on the left corner of the toolbar...they are on the end of the toolbar on the right side.. I have no idea what you mean... tooltips work for me in both skins(classic and modern).
