As we haven't yet shipped 3.5.6, this isn't valid.

We did just ship beta, though, so this is definitely valid.

AFAIK, there is no pages to push for beta releases, maybe a redirect to 3.5.6rc/whatsnew via htaccess but not the final pages.

yeah, that's what I was also meaning in comment #3 -- possible that .htaccess didn't get pushed.
