Mozilla weave's uplink crashes any downloading or streaming items every 30 minutes, even after uninstall the problem has continued.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.watched Hulu videos. Every half hour, corresponding to the time when weave would uplink, the video reset
2.On wikipedia, or any site, every half hour, the mouse became unresponsive as if disengaged from scrolling the page
3.
Actual Results:
install Weave and do as I have done. When weave is uplinking, it should stop whatever you're doing. Then uninstall it. It will continue.
Shouldn't interfere to that extent with anything the end user is doing. I assume this is critical, as the browsing experience is not,in general, one that people like to come to an involuntary halt every 30 minutes.

Weave doesn't have a 30 minute interval (5/60/1 day). and it certainly doesn't leave anything behind on uninstall... you probably have something else going on.

You should try and disable all extensions and see if it happens again. Then start enabling them one by one to see if an extension is the culprit. I run weave on 2 OSes on 2 machines (4 instances of weave) alongside many extensions without any problems like this.
Weave syncs every 30 min's. At least mine does per the log. The only addons i have are greasemonkey, net 1.1 and personas which have all been on here for months. No issues.
