Classic.jar file on Windows OS has two different themes: one is the "classic"(Windows XP and others) and other is "aero" (for Windows Vista and Windows 7) that grant a better rappresentation in native Windows Aero style.

Should be great if the user could be see both in add-ons themes panel for change from classic to aero and viceversa.

To do this you'd actually have to split classic.jar into two and essentially have two themes in the build. Then you'd have to have one or other as the default which you wouldn't easily be able to do per Windows version.

Does this make sense for today's themes?

No, we have now only one default theme. And a Dark- and Light theme which are shown in Add-on manager.
