I had the latest version of Thunderbird 2 on my pc.
Today I downloaded version 3.0 and installed it.
Now when I start Thunderbird, all of my mail/folders are missing!!

My old address book is there and my account settings look ok, but there is no
mail or folders!!  PLEASE HELP!!

Could you be more specific, what did you see on left side panel where usually folder been? If it difficult to explain attach screenshoot.

There is basically nothing there - no folders, no mail summary, etc.
I will try to attach screenshot but not sure how.

Same problem with same results   tried to update profile but that is not in file and does not work.  There  is nothing in left panel or right panel and when I click to access mail to one of my accounts, another window opens with same blanks.   I tried every toolbar with no results.  I even reloaded Thunderbird 3.0.  even locating old profile will not be loaded.

- When I click "Get Mail" icon or File - Get New Messages For... nothing appears to happen...


- I tried Safe Mode and same result


- If I click on the yellow folder on a tab in the upper left corner, the space to the right of the folder (where folder name would be) gets filled with "..................."


- The following entries were in the Error Console (first->last): (I wish there was a way to export of of them instead of copy/paste):

Thanks!  This fixed my problem (uninstalled and removed Mozilla Thunderbird folder and re-installed.
