53405 - problems setting personal toolbar folder in bookmark menu

using build 2000091905.

a number of different but likely related problems.

1) open the manage bookmarks window.  select one of the folders not currently
serving as the personal toolbar folder.  under view, select "set as personal
toolbar folder".  minimize and/or close the manage bookmarks window, and notice
the personal toolbar folder has not been set.

2) once again, open the manage bookmarks window.  select one of the folders not
currently serving as the personal toolbar folder.  this time, right-click on the
selected item, and select "set as personal toolbar folder".  close and/or
minimize the manage bookmarks menu.  one of several unpredictable (thus far)
errors can be noted - (a) not all of the bookmarks in the newly selected
personal toolbar show up, (b) the names of the bookmarks do not appear, and/or
(c) some of the bookmarks of the previous personal toolbar folder still appear.

in addition, it seems that "jiggling" the bookmarks under the personal toolbar
folder (i.e., rearranging the order) seems to correct the appearance in the
personal toolbar.


may be a build-specific problem - similar problems have not noted with previous
m18 nightlies.

item one is probably due to bug 53835. maybe some of #2 is bug 53601( via bug 53626)?

everything works fine in m18 build 2000100504.  hopefully it'll stick into the
official m18.
