Historically, Bespin has been licensed under the Mozilla Public License alone. However, the MPL is not compatible with the GPL and LGPL, and we would like to ensure that Bespin (particularly Bespin Embedded) can be used more broadly. For this reason, we wish to change Bespin's license to the MPL/GPL/LGPL tri-license that is common to the rest of the Mozilla projects. To do this, we need permission from anyone who has contributed a non-trivial amount of code to Bespin. If you are one of those contributors, please log in to bugzilla and add a comment here saying that you agree to change the license to MPL/GPL/LGPL.
Not sure if I still count as a contributor or not, but I (Elliot Kroo) approve, regardless :).
Fine by me.
Fine by me.
Feel a bit like Elliot, and it's fine by me.
Fine by me. (And I do feel like Elliot as well.)
Fine by me. (And I do feel like Elliot as well.) Go add MIT to the list as well :)
Sounds good to me.
In email, I have received permission from Roberto Saccon, Evan Allrich and Alex Iskander. With those permissions and recognizing the extent of the changes in the Reboot, I believe we have all of the permission we need to change Bespin's license.

So next step is to go ahead and change the license files in the code- will you open a second bug for that, Kevin?
Yes, indeed. bug 539458 is that bug.
