Details

Mozilla M18 2000092008, Mac OS 9.0.4 - If you open Mozilla without an active internet connection, or if there is some problem with the network, Mozilla just opens up a blank page, giving no indication that there was any kind of error. There should be some kind of "unable to create nwk socket connection" alert. NOTE: If it's feasible, let this be an option (have a "I know so don't ever show it to me again") so that it doesn't get too annoying like ns4.7.5. This would be particularly useful for people with dialup connections as the most likely cause of this error would be that you're not connected to the internet - you don't need an alert to tell you that.
Bad me - dup of 25618. Updating bug 25618 to platform/OS all and adding request for disabling the alert. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 25618 ***
