User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Thunderbird/Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0 When I delete an email that I have read, I have to close it on the tab bar. It stays open otherwise and Thunderbird 3 is not refreshed. When I finish an email, the tab remains open as well even after sending a reply. It would be better if it closed itself automatically in most situations. Perhaps options to choose when it closes automatically Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open email 2.Read it. 3.I press the delete button. 4.The tab remains open and in the tab bar. Expected Results: The email tab closed automatically when it is deleted.
So what happens to me : 1) open an email in a tab 2) press delete button button 3) tab is refreshed with next email in the folder I had selected. Rick does this happens in -safe-mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) ? Where do you open your email from ?

This is not a problem. I had a duplicate email sent and it went to the next one, so it appeared to be the first one not closed.
