Upgrade install of Thunderbird 3 from 2.  Upgrade proceeded normally until after the restart of TB.  On this computer (XP, x86) no post install interview boxes showed ("do you want to use the new folder system", etc.) as they had done on my working Vista x86 TB3 install.  The only difference in the pre-restart portion of the install was that on the working Vista install none of the add-ons needed to be upgraded - on the problem computer the installer said that my anti-virus (Kaspersky 2009, up to date) wouldn't work with Thunderbird 3 (both computers are running the same anti-virus program with the only difference being XP and Vista.)  I can hear the chime of new mail coming in, the pop-up showing summaries of new messages is showing in the lower right corner, but nothing at all is displayed in Thunderbird.  I can interact with the contents of the window (i.e. if I right-click in the white space where my messages should be I get the correct right-click menu as if I had clicked an email message.)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Upgrade or install TB3 on an x86 w/XP (current patches & updates) and Kaspersky 2009 AV

Actual Results:  
After additional install attempts with Kaspersky both on and disabled the program continues to exhibit bug.

Expected Results:  
Should have displayed my email and folder sidebar.

The software device dialog box does finally make an appearance after several minutes and allows the password to be entered.  Interface still does not show anything after password is put in.
