Build Identifier: thunderbird 3.0
After sending a message,a window appears "copy message into sent folder" but nothing happens.Even the window would not close.I have to close it manualy.
My German is better:
Wenn ich eine Nachricht gesendet habe, erscheint ein Fenster "Kopiere Nachricht in Ordner Posteingang" und ein blauer Ladebalken beginnt zu laufen.Es passiert aber nichts weiter.Weder wird die Nachricht kopiert, noch schließt sich das Ladefenster.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Writing a message
2.Sending a message
3.
Actual Results:
Window " Copy message into sent folder" appears but message isnt copied and window wont close.
Expected Results:
Copy message into sent folder.
I use windows 7 home premium 64bit.

IMAP or local sent folder? If IMAP, does the sent folder exist on the server? If you look in account settings for the copies and folders setting, does it look like the right folder is picked?

If you go into the config editor, (tools | options | advanced, general tab, config editor, and type fcc_folder, what does it say the various fcc_folders are set to?
I can see these things in fcc_folder:
mail.fcc_folder standard string
mail.identity.default.fcc_folder mailbox://nobody@Local%20Folders/Sent
mail.identity.id1.fcc_folder mailbox://nobody@Local%20Folders/Sent
mail.identity.id1.fcc_folder_picker_mode 1
news.fcc_folder; standard string

Does the Sent folder exist in Local Folders?

And it's empty? Does this happen for both replies and new messages? If you look at just "fcc" in the config editor, are the various fcc prefs set to true?
Oh sorry.Yes its empty.
My english isnt as well. What do you mean with "replies"?

Are you replying/responding to an existing mail, or sending out a new message that's not in response to an e-mail you've received?
Can you try going into account settings, and for this account, instead of picking "Sent folder on local folders", pick "other folder", and specify the local folders sent folder explicitly. (sorry, don't know what the German strings are).

Well thats kind of strange.
Before I changed settings:
After I replie a message, there is a copy in sent folder.
Now I changed the settings as you said, and even after sending a new message, there is a copy in sent folder.
So now, it works as it should.
