User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0 I have recently upgraded to Thunderbird 3.0 and store my email password in the password manager. When I download email I get the following alert: "Error getting mail password". I have to enter my email password every time I want to download. If I tick the save password box in password manager, i get the error message. If you open password manager and view the stored passwords, the email passwords are not there. There are also some Firefox passwords stored in the thunderbird password manager. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.download email 2.enter email password 3.tick save password box in password manager Actual Results: Yellow triangle alert message: "Error getting mail password" Expected Results: Retrieve email password and forward to email server I used to use netscape nad switched to Firefox and Thunderbird when it became available and have never experienced something similar. Win XP is auto updated and so is my Trend Micro internet security pro. I do not have any add ons installed with thunderbird.
