When moving the mouse to hover over an email address in a message header, there is a narrow strip in which the cursor changes from a pointer to a hand, and then (after moving further) back to a pointer. This strip is about one or two pixels wide all around the address and star. (The cursor also turns into a hand when hovering over the star -- that's different, and expected.)
Attaching screenshot (note that cursor was re-added, with approximate appearance in in approximate position; can give more precise screenshot if needed).
STR:
1. Select a message in the message pane to preview it, or open message in a new tab or window
2. Move mouse cursor slowly over the edge of the address highlight block until it changes shape
Expected:
Mouse cursor should not change on hover.
Actual:
Mouse cursor changes within a narrow zone, then changes back outside that, producing a flickering effect.
Additional notes:
I'm using the default Thunderbird theme, but the Windows theme is Classic, which likely has something to do with this bug.
Behavior consistently seen in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Lightning/1.0pre Thunderbird/3.0 ID:20091204171430; reproducible also in Safe Mode.
