User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.10 Build Identifier: 0.9 When I close Sunbird and reminders are open, then the program should automatically close the reminders and show them again on the next start instead of waiting for the user to dismiss all reminders before exiting. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have reminder window open 2. Close Sunbird Actual Results: Sunbird window is closed, but reminder stays open Expected Results: Reminder should be closed automatically for Sunbird to close. This is especially annoying when there are let´s say 5 reminders open. I have to dismiss every one of them and if I want to see them again after restart I additionally have to change the time for that.

Do you just close the main window, e.g. by pressing the X in the title bar? Or do you close the entire application by selecting menu File > Exit? In the former case only the window will close. Other windows like the reminder dialog, error console window, edit event dialog, etc. will stay open. In the latter case all windows should be closed and the application should terminate. This ought to be the same behavior as with other applications like Firefox or Thunderbird.
I think I clicked on the X. Shouldn´t it be the same wether I used X or File > Exit? I can´t imagine any purpose in closing Sunbird but having the reminders open.

The same case is with Firefox. You can close window with tabs but window with downloading files are still open, until you close it. So in some cases current solution makes sense.

Update: I use X to minimize Sunbird to the systray and from that choosed "Close window" to close Sunbird (Add-On: MinimizeToTray). The reminders are closed when I use "File > Exit" So, perhaps I should post this bug with the add-on, shouldn´t I?

Close Window sounds more like it should only close the window, not exit the app. In any case, this is probably something better reported with the addon.
