User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 Build Identifier: The Type-to-Select function works when the focus is on the TOC of a mailbox. To find the next match, the " . " is used (or Shift+. to go the other way). F3 is a common standard shortcut for "find next", and if using the message preview pane, performs that function if you were to search inside of a previewed message. Because a previewed message and the TOC cannot be simultaneously focused, it is proposed that the "find next" accelerator be the same for both searches. This will standardize the behavior and prevent users from having to memorize two different shortcuts to do essentially the same thing. Reproducible: Always
On the Mac, Command-G is typically 'Find Next'.
