when a message is read the count in the mail folders tab next to the folder wont
update until changed to a different folder
						

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
go into a folder with no unread messages
mark one that isnt highlighted as unread
click on the message to bring it up (not the read/unread toggle)

							

Actual Results:  the # of unread messages wont change until you click a different folder							

Expected Results:  it should have decreased the message count like it does when
clicking the read/unread toggle

I confirm that this bug exists in POP, but not IMAP.

Unable to test Mac because unable to launch Ntescape on Mac.

I can reproduce this.  It's interesting what's happening.  I switch to my local
folders and the first message I read doesn't show headers, only content.  On
these messages, the Mark Read doesn't work.  I get this js exception:

However, if I resize the message by moving the splitter, the headers show up and
then I can mark read all I want.

ok, that exception seems to be irrelevant since all of my messages are getting
it and it's just a warning. But for some reason, the headers aren't loading in
this case and it only seems to happen when switching to a local folder, not an imap.

Is this a duplicate to the bug where POP won't update the unread tab in the
folderpane? At least it must be related somehow?

In 1.0.0 rc1 under win2k, the count in the "new message" popup from systray is
almost always too many by comparison with the number displayed as bold in my
imap accounts - s.
