Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a news post in Tab #1 for example 2. Hilite and double click another post to open it in a new tab 3. Result is now the contents of the new post has taken the place of the contents of the first tab giving you two tabs with the same contents 100% reproducible
Summary: Double click to open a new tab causes same message in old tab → Double clicking to open a new tab causes two tabs with same contents
WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091215 Lightning/1.0b2pre Shredder/3.0.1pre following the given steps in a newsgroup folder. Are you in a special view or something, e.g. smart folders, or saved search?
In regular view (TB2 view) and not a saved search.

Yes. see http://www.ufaq.org/double_click_bug.html Note the first tab shows the hilited post from "Jeff" then double-click the message from "Will" to bring it up in a new tab and note the "Will" message has taken the place of the "Jeff" message in the first tab and is also in the new tab as well.
