After installing the 1.0pre1 dev release of 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install 1.0pre
2.restart
3.perform sync
4.restart
Actual Results:  
Status bar elements are completely hidden, unable to access activity log, preferences without going through Tools --> Options

Expected Results:  
Status bar elements to be shown as normal.

This only started happening with 1.0pre.  Also, this happens across all versions of Fx that I have installed:

Fx 3.5.6 (final release)
Shiretoko 3.5.7 pre-release (nightly - updated daily)
Namoroka 3.6 b6 pre-release (nightly - updated daily)
Minefield 3.7a1 pre-release (nightly - updated daily)

I can reproduce it as well on Windows, but not on Mac.

This is the log for the 16 Dec from my Minefield profile, during which time Weave remained hidden from the status bar.  I think at one point I uninstalled and then reinstalled it to get it to work again.
