It was up to 132GB and so needs more releases added to the exclude list to get it back below 100G. bhearsum and justdave already added these Firefox releases: 3.0.14, 3.0.15, 3.5.4, 3.5.5, 3.6a1 3.6a2, 3.6b1, 3.6b2, 3.6b3. I'm suggesting we also add: thunderbird/releases/3.0a1 thunderbird/releases/3.0a2 thunderbird/releases/3.0a3 thunderbird/releases/3.0b1 thunderbird/releases/3.0b2 thunderbird/releases/3.0b3 thunderbird/releases/3.0rc1 seamonkey/releases/2.0b1 seamonkey/releases/2.0b2 seamonkey/releases/2.0rc1 seamonkey/releases/2.0rc2 KaiRo, gozer: please confirm that's OK. Dave: if we can guarantee that dm-download02 carries everything on ftp and is always available in bouncer, then we can remove the following legacy files from the mirrors: firefox/releases/partners firefox/releases/2.0.0.20 firefox/releases/3.0.10 thunderbird/releases/2.0.0.14 These are all major update files for older releases and lower traffic so a single host should be OK, provided we don't overload or disable it through forgetfulness. Regardless, Fx 2.0 currently points at 3.0.15 so we need some coverage after the change at the top of this comment.

(In reply to comment #0) > seamonkey/releases/2.0b1 > seamonkey/releases/2.0b2 > seamonkey/releases/2.0rc1 > seamonkey/releases/2.0rc2 Yes, sounds good, we only need 2.0 and 2.0.1 out of all the 2.x versions to be up on mozilla-releases now.
Dave, please add the 11+4 directories in comment #0 to surf:/etc/rsyncd-mozilla-releases.exclude. I've verified dm-download02 will cover those major update cases.

restored Nick's sudo access (which accidentally got revoked when we installed puppet, and he had for basically this purpose).

Added to exclude file. If dm-download02 gets a load spike then this is a good candidate for causing that (eg people stuck in download loops are more numerous than we expect)
