Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.7pre) Gecko/20091212 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.5

When choosing an email address from the left side pane to be added to a BCC: entry it resets the BCC to TO

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a new email and enter an address in the first TO field
2. F9 to activate the address book left side pane
3. say I want to add 3 address all BCC
4. I change in the email the address field to BCC
5. then choose the address and - field is reset
Actual Results:
the BCC field gets reset when email address is enter via address boot entry

Expected Results:
the BCC field stays when email address is enter via address boot entry
Version: unspecified → 3.0
I can't reproduce this.
in #5, did you double click?
did it work differently in version 2?
I open a new email. Press F9 to activate the Contacts sidebar
I double click one address and it is entered into the first field of the email. In this case a To: field entry.
Now I double click on the second address in the sidebar and it is entered in the second field under To: . I change the To: status into Bcc: because this address and any following I want to be Bcc:.
If I go now back to the sidebar and choose another address it is entered in the 3rd field but switched back to To:
This happens only when addresses are entered via address sidebar.
Same problem in V2 and V3
same as Bug 271917 ?
