So does this happens in safe-mode ? What are you seeing for the count ? only unread emails, can you try to see what is causing the difference ?

Yes, it happens in Safe-Mode and the count is (5) five. I have about over 100 trashed e-mails and I read every one. The count doesn't increase even when adding more e-mails to the Trash folder. I don't know what's causing the difference.

One more question , are you using the smart folder view to see you folders ?

What version of Tb do you use? Tb2? Tb3? (In reply to comment #2) > Yes, it happens in Safe-Mode and the count is (5) five. S2ci.777@SBCglobal.NET, the "(5)" is number displayed at where? Can you attach screen shot which displays both of the "(5)" and number for "I have about over 100 trashed e-mails"?
(In reply to comment #5) > Created an attachment (id=419240) [details] > The lower right corner of Tb v2.0.0.23 shows # of unread and total trashed. TB v3.0 is the same. The # beside "Trash" should reflect the total # of trashed e-mails and not just the unread trashed e-mails. I'll send another screenshot showing the lower right corner of the screen. I now know that the number "(5)" next to "Trash" are unread e-mails; I thought it was to reflect the total # of trashed e-mails. The total # of trashed e-mails instead of just the unread trashed e-mails seems to make more sense.
(In reply to comment #3) > One more question , are you using the smart folder view to see you folders ? No. Just "Σ²ci : SIGMA-SQUAREDci : SS computing initiative".

(In reply to comment #5) > The lower right corner of Tb v2.0.0.23 shows # of unread and total trashed. If you are talking about Tb2, it's your fault: Tb2 has capability to display total, size in addition to unread count. You simply didn't show them. (enable column section feature, show total) If you are talking about Tb3 and you are saying number displayed at folder pane is wrong, it's invalid because number displayed by Tb3 at folder pane is unread count. See bug 464973 and bug 509208. See Bug 465564 for request of "total count display at folder pane by Tb3". Closing as dup of Bug 465564.
