I believe this will take a newsgroup addition and an instance added to the product drop down box. This is a part of the feedback mechanism I'm trying to implement within the browser, so it'd be nice to have hendrix already set up with this implementation before 1.0.

No problem. Is there a deadline?

For now, you don't need either of the above - if you submit the form with the product parameter set to something it doesn't recognize, it should just funnel it into the default newsgroup. So you can write and test your code without these changes.

Remember, as I said, if you submit "product=Fennec" or "product=Firefox%20Mobile" or whatever from your client on the mobile device, it'll just put the feedback in the mozilla.feedback group.

See bug 535901 for getting the newsgroup created. Please help me choose the right name. After that, we can get the main Hendrix page updated in case people want to use their desktop browser for giving feedback.

OK, the groups are created, and I've updated Hendrix to list Mobile and to point to the groups.

"Firefox (Mobile)" -> mozilla.feedback.firefox.mobile
"Firefox (Mobile) Release Candidate" -> mozilla.feedback.firefox.mobile.prerelease
"Fennec" -> mozilla.feedback
