User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091210 SUSE/2.0.1-1.1 SeaMonkey/2.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091210 SUSE/2.0.1-1.1 SeaMonkey/2.0.1
SeaMonkey does not remember the User ID for hsbc.co.uk's online banking login page.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.hsbc.co.uk/1/2/personal/internet-banking
2. Enter a user ID and click "Log on".
3. Go to http://www.hsbc.co.uk/1/2/personal/internet-banking
Actual Results:
4. Nothing happens
Expected Results:
4. The user ID I previously used should appear in the user ID field, either when the page loads or when I click on the user ID field (and possibly enter the first character).
I don't have hsbc.co.uk in my list of "never remember" sites in Password Manager. Also, Edit->Preferences->Browser->History->Form and Search History->Enable search and form history is chceked.

The user ID field has autocomplete="off" so HSBC have chosen to disable password remembering. See https://developer.mozilla.org/en/How_to_Turn_Off_form_Autocompletion
There is some information for getting round this here http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=317943&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a although it refers to Firefox you may be able to adapt it for SeaMonkey
