A friend of mine is a Sanskrit student and has been posting sections of Sanskrit on his Facebook. I noticed that while the sections display fine on Firefox (1.9.2) on my Macbook, the unusual characters display as glyph blocks on Fennec on my n900.
Here is a sample section of text:
oṃ vajrasattva samaya manupālaya | vajrasatvatvenopatiṣṭha dṛḍho me bhava sutoṣyo me bhava | supoṣyo me bhava | anurakto me bhava | sarva siddhi me prayaccha | sarvakarmasu ca me | cittaṃ śreyaṃ kuru hūṃ | ha ha ha ha hōḥ | bhagavān sarva tathāgato | vajra mā me muṃca vajribhava mahāsamayasatva āḥ.

The top half of this table of characters doesn't work (link from Ted):

I imagine the n900 just doesn't have suitable fonts for these characters. Not much we can do if that's the case...
