RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 467643

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091201 Firefox/3.5.6
Build Identifier: version 2.0.0.23 (20090812)

I use the calendar for bill payment reminders, which generally require login to the provider site. But the calendar reminder popup does not offer the link - only the "details" that allows me to display the calendar event entry, asks me about "this" or "every" occurrence (for repeating events), and then displays the event containing the link I wanted.
I noted the connection to bug 416596, and will place a reference to this in that bug report.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a calendar entry containing a link.
2. Examine the popup when it occurs.
3.
I doubt this should be part of the core product. If we follow all such requests, then we will end up mirroring the whole event dialog in the reminder popup.

If you would like to create an extension to fix this, see [1]. This is a proof of concept extension on how you could extend the alarm window binding, you could add the URL link in a similar way.
