User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091201 Firefox/3.5.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091201 Firefox/3.5.6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)

The ctrl-click on a table cell normally outlines the cell. This action is not preventable by using preventDefault(), I could not find any other way to prevent this from occuring.

See test case URL.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Ctrl-Click a cell, note that it is selected by Firefox

Actual Results:
Cell is selected by firefox

Expected Results:
Cell is NOT selected by firefox (due to Event.preventDefault() being called via JavaScript)

Handle mousedown event for the purpose, like normal text selection.

> data:text/html,<table><td>here is a cell</td></table><script>window.addEventListener("mousedown", function (e) { e.preventDefault(); }, true);</script>
