It would be nice if forum postings that include a crash id to crash-stats.mozilla.com. For example, if the crash id in https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/forum/1/533608? was automatically linked to Mozilla Crash Reports it would save a step for anyone looking to post a reply.
I like this idea...

Wasn't this batted around before, and decided against? Cww? Cilias?
Bug 525590 was about linking bug numbers, not crash ids. Is that what you're thinking of?

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking off. /facepalm.
I don't think this is a big deal anymore.

Kadir, you marked this as wontfix. Are you willing to accept Tobbi's patch?
Reviewed Tobbi's pull request and landed this in https://github.com/mozilla/kitsune/commit/cd2374fdb32409b2449081c4dd7e2b19f3a09a85

It hasn't been pushed to staging/production yet, but Jenkins is happy with it, and it looks good to me. If there are any objections I can roll back the patch, otherwise it will get pushed out on Monday.https://github.com/mozilla/kitsune/commit/cd2374fdb32409b2449081c4dd7e2b19f3a09a85
I just pushed this to stage and production.

Mike, Tobbi: Can one of you verify that it's working in production? And if it is, mark this FIXED.
Working as expected in production.
