I didn't think we loaded plugins at all in safe mode...
Java loads for me in safe mode... At least, java version checkers show it loaded.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.7pre) Gecko/20091220 Shiretoko/3.5.7pre "Any applet"; I tried http://www.jigzone.com/puzzles/2003-08-16 and it flickers while scrolling but does not disappear (on Windows). This is fixed with Firefox 3.6. If you want to try: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-1.9.2/
it occurs in both 3.6 and in 3.5.7 in safe mode. I'm running Apple's Java 1.6.0_17.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
