Using SQLite templates with "profile:places.sqlite" (as per https://developer.mozilla.org/En/XUL/Template_Guide/SQLite_Templates) works great until you add/remove/modify a bookmark tag. On calling builder.rebuild() the template does not build. 

This works fine on 3.0.10. I've noticed this issue started from 3.5. I've been working on an addon which stopped working and would appreciate if someone can point me to the solution. Maybe there is a change or alternative method that I can use? Could it be a Firefox lock related issue?

Anyway, to help, I've attached a simple xul file which should hopefully be able to reproduce this behavior. I hope that if this is indeed a bug, it can be fixed in time for 3.6.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attached is a xul file which filters bookmarks using tags. Run it from a chrome:// url to bypass security restrictions on by default.
2. Click on tags and see the titles.
3. Open a new tab and bookmark a new page with a tag.
4. Reload the xul or click on the tags.
Actual Results:  
Nothing gets displayed.

Expected Results:  
The behavior should be as prior to step 4. A list of tags which can be selected and show corresponding bookmark titles on selection.

Oh wait, my apologies. It seems that this is indeed a known issue. I've just found *two* similar bug reports. #496717 and #460896. Seems to be a WONTFIX, but luckily can manage a workaround!

Closing this as a duplicate then.
