User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091216 Mandriva Linux/1.9.1.6-0.1mdv2010.0 (2010.0) Firefox/3.5.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6) Gecko/20091216 Mandriva Linux/1.9.1.6-0.1mdv2010.0 (2010.0) Firefox/3.5.6 With Gnome desktop and Firefox installed, if we go in the preferred application tool, at the web browser option, we have an list to choice between Firefox (or other installed browsers) and custom, Firefox option "set to default browser" use the custom choice and set an absolute path to Firefox executable, so each time we update Firefox, the path become wrong (ex : /Firefox3.5 to /firefox3.6), why Firefox don't simply choice "Firefox" in the system default browser ? Reproducible: Always I consider this broke an feature, since after each upgrade, all software of my system was not able anymore to open URL.
This looks to be the same as or related to Bug 469648 and/or Bug 420408 (which may also be the same or related to each other).
I tried to search first and find only Bug 420408 who is %s vs "%s" , so not the same, i didn't find Bug 469648 who is exactly the same, yes :-) sorry for the duplicate .
