So far, restored tabs are just added to the end of the tab list. I've attached a patch, which allowes to restore tabs to their old position, where they have initially be closed. I've limited the code to just work if the *last* tab is restored. If someone uses the "Recently Closed Tabs" list below the "File" menu, then the restored tab will still be added at the end of the tab list. It would be possible to also restore position for older tabs, but maybe this isn't what the user expects.

Comment on attachment 419848 [details] [diff] [review] First patch, to save and restore tab position. Unfortunately I needed to rework this as part of attachment 419247 [details] [diff] [review], so I don't think your version of the fix will be helpful. Sorry.
