I can't use Thunderbird. When I try I am told that another window is open. I used CCCleaner and that doesn't do the job. Uninstalled and reinstalled and problem continues.

Reproducible: Always




When I tried to download another copy of Thunderbird, I get z warning telling me that there is a virus on the cite and that if I download I run the risk of a problem.

What site did you try to download from, and what anti-virus are you using? http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/ should work well.

Have you tried restarting your computer? This error message usually means that Thunderbird is still running invisibly.
