Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091204 Thunderbird/3.0

-- This phaenomenon is new in Version 3.0, it was not there in Versions < 3.
- I use imap to check my inbox@gmx.net
- After checking I download the mails using pop3 from mail.gmx.net
- After download in Thunderbird versions < 3.0 the mails were gone from the imap folder@thunderbird after that when accessing it after the download. In version 3 the mails still are listed in the imap folder@thunderbird although they are gone in the inbox@mail-server folder after the pop3 download.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. access the inbox folder in an email account with imap
2. download the mails from the inbox using pop3
3.
Actual Results:
no mails on the server, but still they appear in the inbox@imap

Expected Results:
no mails on the server, no mails listed in the inbox@imap

- I have no "keep the mails on the server" checked in the account preferences for pop3 (I use the german version so I'm not sure about the english text.)
- Compressing the folder doesn't make a difference.
- This is the same after restarting Thunderbird: the mails appear in the imap inbox although they are not on the server any more. I can even open them sometimes.
- I use different user names for login@imap and login@pop3 for the same mail account@gmx.net
- all seems to work fine when a _new_ email comes in after the pop3 download.
Hi could you provide us an imap log as decsribed at https://wiki.mozilla.org/MailNews:Logging and log imap:5,ImapAutoSync:5 and attach the log here afterwards ?
