Open IE 6 and login to the NY Times web site at http://www.nytimes.com/auth/login?URI=http://

Make sure to uncheck the remember me on this computer. Have IE 6 remember your password.

Start Firefox after removing all profile information, migrate data from IE. Then visit tools > options > security > view saved passwords, nytimes.com is not listed when other sites are (digg, sumo). Additionally passwords saved as cookies are imported.

I don't see us adding support for importing IE6 passwords. Modern IE password import will be handle by bug 682069.
